Last week, John Lemay reached out to me about this incredibly cool concept he’s developing to create 5th edition fantasy adventure settings inspired by the U.S. National Parks. I was hooked the moment I read his pitch, so I asked him if he was interested in bringing the concept to life on Shard Tabletop. Within 24 hours, he had the prototype based on the The Badlands he’s been working on setup and packaged for Shard. Today, we are offering that module free to all Shard users.

We are pleased to announce that the Wagadu Chronicles are now available on the Shard Tabletop. Wagadu is an Afrofantasy setting by Twin Drums. It incorporates many African cultural elements into a unique fantasy setting that plays out in the afterlife.

Thanks to Shard community member Jennifer Leigh, a faithful conversion of this setting is now available on Shard, beginning with the Player’s Guide and a Gamemaster’s Guide to running adventures. Both of these books are free. More adventure content will follow.

Just in time for Fat Tuesday, we are releasing a free Mardi Gras themed adventure from our favorite Cajuns, the Fates.

Discover the history of Mardi Gras and learn to pronounce a few words the Cajun way. This adventure is a blast. It even comes with a five pre-generated characters that fit the theme of the adventure. Gather your team and set off as Sho Nuff, the intrepid leader of this motley band.

Petersen Games is bringing Sandy Petersen’s Cthulhu Mythos to Shard Tabletop and we could not be more excited. Be prepared for Insanity, Dread, Formula Casting and Yog-Sothothery to take over your table.

The Ruins of Grendleroot is a set of ten adventures by Mike Shea (aka Sly Flourish). The adventures are set in Blackclaw Mountain, which can act as its own mini-setting or be dropped into any game world. The whole collection is coming to Shard as an add-on in our upcoming Kickstarter campaign.

The scaly army at Kobold Press is bringing their joyous wares to Shard and we could not be happier. Kobold Press is supporting our Kickstarter by offering two of their most popular product lines (fully converted to Shard) as add-ons to the campaign. What’s more those products will be delivered to backers in March when the market opens, so no long wait to get your scaly paws on them.

Jess and Keith Pendley of Underground Oracle Publishing were the very first content partners to embrace Shard. We are forever grateful for that leap of faith. Ryan Langr and I met in early 2019 when we were both creating products for publication on DMs Guild. Since then, Ryan created his own publishing company, Realmwarp Media. He and several other top creators have begun publishing a fantastic collection of settings based on folk tales and lore called Cities of Myth. Fallen Camelot is the first of those settings and we are happy to announce its coming to Shard Tabletop as part of our Kickstarter on January 26th.
