Happy Holidays! As a special year end gift to our users, we launched a brand new release today that includes a major enhancement to the character sheet. You now have an abundance of options for expressing your character’s style.

Instead of a flat list of features, the character sheet can now show features grouped with borders like classic printed character sheets. In addition to being more interesting and visually appealing, this makes it easier to find information on the character sheet. If we are going to change how the character sheet looks, we couldn’t do it just one way. You can now choose details of how your character sheet looks by changing the border style, border color, color scheme and background image. Of course, all of the new options will adapt and work across screen sizes and devices.

But wait, there’s more! We know that many people prefer a dark color scheme. To that end, users now have the option to switch the Shard user interface into dark mode. All of the color schemes adjust to have dark mode options as well. Even when you pick the screaming bright pink colors with unicorns, your gamemaster can still see a muted dark mode version.

Check out the new styling options by clicking on your character’s name and selecting “Character Sheet Style…” or try changing into dark mode on the Account page.
