Removing Equipment
When removing equipment from a character, that equipment usually doesn’t just disappear. It is more likely that the character wants to sell an item, or give it to another player. There are several ways to handle removing an item from equipment.
Equipment Options
Clicking the arrow on the right side of equipment will display an options list with the following options:
Drop: just drop the items. If you have more than one then select how many to drop. The dropped items will show up in the chat log. Clicking the item in the chat log allows you to add the item back or you can have another character click the item to add to their character, effectively transferring the item.
Sell: sell the items. Sell below for details.
Change Container (only if equipment has a container): allows items to be moved to other containers. See containers article for more details.
Put in Shared Treasure (only in campaigns): add the items to the shared treasure. If you have more than one, the select the number to add to shared treasure. After adding to shared treasure the items can be distributed or claimed by other characters.
Sell Equipment
Selling equipment removes the items from the character and adds coins or other currency back from the sale. After selecting sell, the sell dialog will be shown.
The sell dialog allow you to select the quantity and how much you want to sell the items.
Coin counts are shown at the top. You can click any of the quantities to select how much you would like to sell the items. When you change the coins the sell value will update to show what percent of value the items would sell.
The standard value of each item is shown below the coins.
The Sell Value, both shows the current percentage of standard value as well as allowing you to pick a target sell value.
Quantity allows you to adjust how many you want to sell.
