Package Resolution
Packages provide the foundation for publishing content either via a product in the marketplace or through user to user sharing. They also provide the easiest mechanism for filtering content for a campaign or ruleset to ensure that you only see and can choose from appropriate content for your games.
Understanding how to select packages ensures that you can see what you need to see and don’t see what you want hidden. The first step is to understand the starting package list. There are two lists of packages that determine what you see: selected packages and disabled packages.
Selected packages determines the starting set of packages. If no packages are selected then the starting set of packages is just the list of owned packages. If there are any selected packages then the starting set of packages are just the packages in the selected package list that are owned. Any disabled packages are removed from the available list of packages.
Ruleset template extensions, can set the selected packages, either by listing a specific set of packages or by providing a filter to select packages. See Rulesets for more information.
Note: content that you create or modify (My Creations) are aways available. Extensions can hide creations using the disallowed content.
