Adventurers Assemble!

The first adventure for a new campaign arrives today. It’s been written, playtested, edited, mapped, updated and is ready for you to take on.

Chapter 1: Blind Fish kicks off a campaign called Fate of Artanga. The setting is a new world being developed by our in-house team. This module has the task of introducing you to the world, setting the tone, and hopefully providing you a little fun while we are all still in lock down. The campaign itself lands your characters in the middle of a conflict where they will literally decide the fate of a continent.

As with most of us when we are new at our job, the characters will know very little at the beginning. They are hired to do a benign task. Claudio, the person hiring them, will continue to be their primary benefactor through the first few adventures and the characters will learn more about the underlying struggle that Artanga faces.

Claudio is an apprentice to a mysterious wizard. This wizard is convinced that mastery of arcane magic is the only thing that will save Artanga from would be invaders from other continents. He’s also convinced that it is his birthright to do so.

The other point of view is the druids and their near demi-god leader that currently hold sway over the entire continent. Arcane magic destroyed the empire that dominated the southern half of the continent two hundred years ago and the druids are not eager to see its return.

After the initial run of modules, the druids will step forward and explain a bit more of the history and try to sway the party to their point of view. Who’s right? Who’s wrong? You, your players, and their characters get to decide. As the campaign progresses, the fate of an entire continent will rest in their hands.

New installments will initially arrive every two to three weeks for the next few weeks. That rate may eventually slow to once a month, but our goal is deliver the complete campaign to you over the next 12 months. The campaign and indeed Shard Tabletop itself will remain completely free for the next few months as we round out the tools and the content and prepare for a commercial launch.

As always, thank you to our users and we look forward to your feedback. Adventure awaits!
