Item Features
This page describe each of the special abilities an item can grant to a character.
To Hit Bonus: A modifier on attack rolls ranging from -5 to +5 with this item (must be a weapon).
Damage Bonus: A modifier on damage rolls ranging from -5 to +5 with this item (must be a weapon).
Attack Ability: Changes which ability modifier can be used for attack and damage.
Uses: Allows you to specify a use count for item (charges) and recovery options.
Armor: Grants armor proficiency with one or more armor types or shields.
Weapons: Grants weapon proficiency with either a specific weapon or a weapon type (simple, martial).
Tools: Grants proficiency or expertise with a specific type of tool.
Skills: Grants proficiency in a particular skill.
Languages: Allows the user to speak, read, and write another language.
Ability Saves: Grants proficiency in one or more ability save types.
Movement: Grants a movement type and speed.
Senses: Grants additional sensory abilities (darkvision, truesight, …).
Ability Modifiers: Modifies one or more of the character’s ability scores either via an adjustment (+ or -) or by setting it to a new minimum value or by allowing the character to choose which abilities are modified.
Unarmored AC: Grants the character an unarmored AC based on a base value plus all or half of one or more ability modifiers.
Hit Point Bonus: Grants the character a hit point modifier bases on the value set (-5 to +5) per character level.
AC Bonus: Grants a modifier of -5 to +5 on armor class.
Initiative Bonus: Modifies the character’s initiative modifier by the value set (-5 to +5).
Passive Perception Bonus: Modifies the character’s passive perception by the value set (-5 to +5).
Proficiency Bonus: Modifies the character’s proficiency bonus by the value set (-5 to +5).
Spell DC Bonus: Modifies the character’s spell difficulty check by the value set (-5 to +5).
Spell Attack Bonus: Modifies the character’s spell attack bonus by the value set (-5 to +5).
Saving Throw Bonus: Modifies the character’s saving throw bonuses by the value set (-5 to +5).
Speed Adjustment: Adds the value set (0 to 30 feet) to each of the character’s movement speeds.
Unarmed Attack: Grants the character an Unarmed Attack. Allows you specify the name of the attack (horn, bite, claw, etc.), damage dice, damage type, and whether it should be treated as a finesse weapon for purposes of choosing dexterity over strength as the ability modifier.
Resistance: Makes the character resistant to the selected damage types.
Immunity: Makes the character immune to the selected damage types.
Vulnerability: Makes the character vulnerable to the selected damage types.
Condition Immunity: Grants the character immunity to the selected conditions (charmed, prone, etc.).
Extra Attack: Grants the character an extra attack with they use the Attack action.
